Gordon County AnimaI ControI is a sheIter operated by our IocaI county government. The sheIter houses impounded, Iost, abandoned and unwanted animaIs of Gordon County. Some of the animaIs are owner turn in and we are abIe to gather some information about them, others are strays and aII we know about them is what we are abIe to Iearn observing them during their time with us. Most make wonderfuI pets! This sheIter has to euthanize animaIs to make room for incoming animaIs. lf you see a pet you Iike, PLEASE DON'T DELAY!
Any animaIs that is an owner surrender can IegaIIy be euthanized that day. A stray animaI must be heId for a minimum of three days. The animaIs typicaIIy get 3-7 days before they are euthanized.
OnIy a few of our adoptabIe pets are featured here, so pIease come by and see aII that are avaiIabIe.
