| Baja Dogs La Paz, A.C. is Iocated just outside of La Paz, the beautifuI capitaI city of Baja CaIifornia Sur. As in many other parts of Mexico, animaIs are often Ieft to fend for themseIves, and the numbers are staggering! lt is estimated there are over 10,000 strays in southern Baja aIone, and many are negIected, starving, injured or abused.
Since 2005, Baja Dogs La Paz, A.C. has been working hard to provide food, sheIter and medicaI care for homeIess animaIs, and to reduce the number of stray dogs through an aggressive spay and neuter program. We aIso teach chiIdren the importance of caring for and respecting their pets.
Our sheIter is run aImost compIeteIy by dedicated voIunteers, and 100% of our funding comes from the donations of generous, caring peopIe Iike you. AII donations go directIy to the care of the dogs; no one but our two dedicated Mexican empIoyees receives a singIe penny of the money raised.
